  • Orit

    Instructor

Orit is a graduate of Columbia University and has studies at Cambridge University, England. She received her Stott Pilates mat and apparatus certifications over a decade ago, and has since taught Pilates to novices and advanced students alike. Her extensive studies of anatomy and physiology give her insight to the needs of both individuals and large groups. A native of Israel, Orit took her first Pilates class with the encouragement of her voice teacher. She found that Pilates not only helped her singing, but provided her with a renewed sense of confidence and strength. Orit's passion for mind-body awareness encompasses Eastern modalities--she is a 500 hr. certified Yoga teacher and a Level III Shiatsu practitioner. She looks forward to support the Club Pilates clients on their fitness journey, and is thrilled to be part of the Club Pilates team.

  • Sarah

    Owner/ Instructor

Sarah is the owner of Club Pilates Mount Kisco in addition to the Brooklyn studios she opened in 2018. She's a mother of three with a diverse work background that had nothing to do with Pilates...until she tried it for fun 14 years ago and fell in love. A dancer for nearly 20 years, Sarah decided to try a Pilates class on a whim at a large group-based reformer studio in NYC. She loved it so much that she began working at the Pilates studio nights and weekends. When her career took her out of the city and into Westchester, she struggled to find Pilates classes that she could a) fit into her schedule and b) afford. She half heartedly pieced classes together here and there and practiced at home when she couldn't find a studio. Once she (accidentally) discovered Club Pilates she knew she had to be a part of it and jumped at the opportunity of opening her own studio. In 10 months time, she bought into the CP idea, purchased the Mount Kisco territory and was open for business! She loves how Club Pilates is changing the way people view and understand Pilates with affordable classes, accessible schedules, all with the least pretentious attitude. She loves how Club Pilates "brings Pilates to the people" and can't wait to work with you!

  • Shasta W

    Lead Instructor

With 15 years experience, Shasta is a sought after celebrity trainer. While she ran her own studios in the Hamptons, NYC, and Larchmont, she now lives in Mount Kisco with her husband, Doug, and two young children, Charlie and Dash. Shasta is the Lead Instructor at CPMK and a certified Master Trainer. In 2018, she was selected as one of Club Pilates’ Top 10 Instructors! Shasta is a NASM certified personal trainer as well as an IIN certified health coach.

  • Sybil

    Instructor

Sybil comes to us from Brazil, and is a graduate of Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy (2010). After her graduation she chose to work combining both Pilates and Physical Therapy. In 2011 she got her international certification in Pilates at the PhysicalMind Institute in NYC. Now she lives in Connecticut with her family and is excited to be a part of the Club Pilates Mount Kisco team!

  • Catherine

    Instructor

Catter discovered Club Pilates driving her son to preschool, saw the offer for unlimited classes, and thought “that sounds better than going home and doing laundry.” Two years later, 80 pounds lighter, and over 1,000 hours of training completed she has received her certification through Club Pilates and is thrilled to be sharing the benefits of Pilates and it’s transformative powers with all! She previously worked for over a decade at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, holds Masters degrees in Art History from Sotheby’s and Columbia University and lives in Bedford with her husband and son.

  • Aly

    Instructor

Alea “Aly” began practicing Pilates during her sophomore year of college, after hearing about the many benefits the practice had to offer. Since her first demo class she was hooked! Pilates has not only offered Alea a sense of relief physically, but also mentally. Pilates has had such a huge impact on her life that she decided to get certified, through Club Pilates, in hopes of offering that same sense of release to others. Alea is looking forward to bringing all the sweat and smiles in all her classes. Alea is also a Microsoft Office Consultant in all M.S applications. When she is not at the studio you can catch her walking her dog, riding bikes that go no where, or on her couch binge watching the Real Housewifes. She is beyond excited to be apart of the Club Pilates Mount Kisco family!

  • Hasani

    Instructor

Hasani moved to New York from North Carolina shortly after college and entered Corporate America. It fulfilled his lifestyle but he wanted something more. During a hiatus he became Classically Mat certified. He enjoyed the benefits so much that he then decided to further his education and complete the  Club Pilates 500 hour certification program. “I’d always sort of known what Pilates was growing up but I didn’t care too much to research it in its entirety.” On his own fitness journey he discovered the true meaning and benefits of Pilates. “I hate that didn’t put thought into it sooner!” Hasani’s classes are challenging yet rewarding. He takes movements from the gym that people are used to but transforms them into a more controlled and thoughtful workout in the studio. You’ll leave feeling accomplished, not defeated.

  • Lisa

    Instructor

My experience in dance and gymnastics has provided me with a broad sense of movement. In 1992, I began teaching dance and fitness classes to both adults and children. In 1999, I sought out the teachings of Joseph Pilates and became certified in the Mat work applications through the Physical Mind Institute. I continued my training at The Kane School of Core Integration on the Pilates apparatus. This intense training provided me with a strong base in anatomy as well as the tools for teaching to a diverse audience. I bring an holistic approach to group classes as well as my private clients. I was awarded "Best of Westchester" for my Barre technique classes. I have gotten where l am today by channeling my passion for health and fitness through Pilates. I feel fortunate to have been given the opportunity to educate and inspire each individual I have encountered. I find it so rewarding to see my clients transform themselves physically and mentally based on my teachings. I am thrilled to be a part of the Club Pilates family.

  • Laura

    Instructor

Laura has been in the fitness industry for the past 11 years teaching clients of various age groups and skill levels at the Healthy U in Whitehouse, NJ and the JCC in Bridgewater, NJ. Prior to seeking a career in personal training Laura held a career as an Aerospace Medical Technician and Emergency Medical Technician in the US Air Force and a Corporate and Real Estate attorney in New York. These experiences have led her to her new passion for fitness and healthy living. She is certified in Personal Training, Group Fitness and Water Aerobics with additional certifications in Arthritis, Older Adult, Common Movement Disorders and Strength Training. “I have been practicing and extolling the virtues of Pilates to anyone who would listen for the past 30 years. So when the opportunity to take the Teacher Training Course arose I jumped at the chance. It is my opportunity to do something I love while helping people move better and feel better”.

  • Trish

    General Manager/ Instructor

Trish joined Club Pilates Mount Kisco in 2018 as our General Manager, having never done Pilates before. She was already a fitness coach, a certified Krav Maga self defense coach, Boxing and Strike Fit instructor. Becoming a Pilates instructor just made sense to Trish. "It's the perfect compliment to my other workouts and has healed my body from years of hardcore workouts and injuries," she says. She believes the benefits of Pilates far outweigh any excuse not to do it. It has healed her body and her mind. Learning Pilates, doing it daily, doing it correctly has made her better in every way. Trish wants to share that with each student she works with.

  • Liza

    Instructor

Liza discovered pilates over 20 years ago, and she has fallen in love with it ever since. She first started training at Ground Floor in New York City. She has been with Club Pilates since 2018, and is thrilled to become a teacher! She provides helpful, kind instruction and will be happy to guide you to become stronger, more flexible, and achieve your Pilates goals at any age. Her Pilates style incorporates classic principles, but with her own modern flair. “You will leave Liza’s class stronger, and with a smile on your face!” In addition to Pilates, Liza is a former certified public accountant, Special Ed chair for the PTA, and a loving mother, wife, and dog owner. Her other hobbies include hiking and nail art.
